Maybe you can help me. What is a “JOHANNINE TURN” as in THE JOHANNINE TURN WAS CARRIED OUT BY OTHERS. I find this in the October New Oxford Review article Pope John XXIII through the Testimony of Silvio Cardinal Oddi by Beniamino Di Martino (Translated by N. Michael Brennen). It is used four times.
