PARIS: France said Monday that it was ready to welcome Christians from northern Iraq who have been told by the Al-Qaeda offshoot group now ruling the region to either convert to Islam, pay a religious levy or face death.
Islamic State insurgents seized large swaths of northern Iraq last month, prompting hundreds of Christian families in Mosul to flee a city that has hosted the faith since its earliest years.
"We are providing aid to displaced people fleeing from the threats of Islamic State and who have sought refuge in Kurdistan. We are ready, if they wish, to facilitate their asylum on our soil," France's foreign and interior ministers said in a joint statement.

And meanwhile we bring in “refugees” from Somalia and other craphole muslim countries. Then we set them up in their own “communities” so they don’t have to assimilate.
We are self-destructive.
Well, good for France but I hardly see where Christians would be welcome OR SAFE in France with all the protests by the INTOLERANT immigrants among their own citizens.
Why aren't we taking in these people instead of the disease-ridden free-loading Mexican kids?

It is wonderful that France is willing to be the first nation to speak up on behalf of the Christian Iraqi’s. However, I cannot help but wonder how they will fare in a country that is already overrun with radical Muslim Middle Easterners.
Oh, and one more thing - I do wish that the National Council of Catholic Bishops (NCCB) would speak on behalf of the Christian refugees from Iraq. These are truly refugees, fleeing for their lives, and would likely become good solid citizens of this country.
As a Catholic I expect nothing less from our bishops. If Cardinal John J. O’Connor were still living, I figure he would have spoken up already.
No use expecting any action from our vacant Commander in Chief. I feel as though the White house is currently unoccupied. Clint Eastwood need to make a new skit with an empty WH instead of an empty chair/suit.
Once again—France is leading the world—I never thought I would see this day. While America is silent—France welcomes the truly oppressed. We elect fools and would re-elect him for a 3rd term if given the chance.

You got it. I didn’t and don’t want to even type the name of that awful whatever it is. A belief system is the best I can do. It gives me hives to even think about it.
Arabic speaking Christian immigrants would be:
* very loyal
* very useful against Muslim terrorists
