Abortionists, hollywood, porn industry and the music industry enjoy that day too, as it is their day to celebrate their freedom and liberty they have been ‘blessed’ with..
They love their freedom and liberty too and America is the ‘greatest example of secular humanism there is today.and that is the religion today..
but that freedom and liberty in the hands of the unrighteous, you get america...
That is not the same freedom and liberty our Messiah gives us- and we can celebrate that liberty and freedom everyday..
But people love their holy days...all man made traditions in substitute for His, but the world is a place for conforming...
Nope, I don’t observe Hannukkah- there is a day somewhere in there that would be a Sabbath though..
I observe His calendar. The template is in Ezekiel 46:1.. new moon, six work days, sabbath.. and count...
And His feasts just happen to fall on His Sabbaths in the first and seventh months (15th day of the month) and the sabbaths fall on the same daya the other months too just like the first and seventh month of those feasts..He doesn’t change..
And I am a Gentile. I don’t sleep in a tent or eat unleavened bread for seven days... But I know when the feasts occur (Jews happen to be off a month from when Moses and Messiah observed them -but that is interesting in and of itself as the earth has wobbled and affected the timing of when the sun enters into the star constellations..)..
and I see the Messiah in each of those appointed and set times..
They were given to Israel as rehearsals and shadows for the coming King and Kingdom after all...
And the best part? Scripture tells us what those days mean in His life..some hinted at but if I can find them, anyone can...
The Word became flesh was born on a new moon, Sabbath or a feast.
The Word became flesh was circumcised on a new moon,Sabbath or feast.
The Word became flesh was dedicated in the temple on a new moon, sabbath or feast..
The Word became flesh was baptized on a new moon, Sabbath or feast.
The Word became flesh was killed on a new moon, Sabbath or feast.
The Word became flesh laid in the tomb on a new moon, Sabbath or feast.
The Word became flesh rose from the dead on a new moon, Sabbath or feast.
All searchable and findable.. and all better than what the church tells people...
Us believers could actually move Jews to sincere jealousy as we can tell them why their ‘day of atonement’ is on the day it is- and what the Messiah did for them through their rehearsals of the new moons, Sabbaths and feasts..(or really annoy them)
Or why circumcisions are on the day they are for them in their law.. or what 40 days represents...
And for the record, I shouldn’t know any of this except for me having the Most Perfect teacher a believer can have...
And His Spirit will move anyone to this if He moved me...
And I pray more believers ask, seek and knock...
The church says the Word became flesh and was born on december 25, died on good Freya Day and raised on easter Sunday..
Knowing His calendar means knowing the major events in the Messiah’s life..
Not knowing His calendar means missing a lot of the major events in the Messiah’s life that could be observed today instead of things like the July 4th holy day...
