Those who believe in traditional marriage had better get used to it. We’ve lost this battle in the culture wars. The homosexualists have succeeded in framing their situation as a struggle. Increasingly their gay pride will be seen as a struggle for equal rights and those who oppose their proclivities will be branded as racists and once that is accomplished the use of force against those who stand for marriage will begin.
If you want to know why the gays are winning read Robert R. Reilly’s excellent new book Making Gay Okay: How Rationalizing Homosexual Behavior Is Changing Everything. Brad Miner has an excellent review of the book here. I can’t add much to Brad’s review. He’s written what I would have written. The best thing about the book is that Reilly explains what’s happening within the gay agenda with an objective, critical stance. He simply reports what’s going on. Just the facts ma’am. The most brilliant thing is that he does so without reference to the Catholic faith, the Bible or any other religious connection. This makes his argument all the stronger for he allows the facts to speak for themselves and never has to pose or get preachy.

Well, that's stupid. Homosexuality is satanic and its metastasizing is evidence that the Lord has turned our world over to a reprobate mind. People who cannot see that we battle not against flesh and blood are a big part of the problem.
You got that right. My wise, wise ol' ma, well-read and schooled in human nature, warned a long time ago that when the pendulum swings back from the horrific era of promiscuity that has visited the last few generations of Americans, it will make the Victorians look loose.
I expect she's right, as she pretty much always is, dammit.
There's nothing new under the sun. No matter the technology or "social media" or texting or anything else, human nature is fixed, and so are God's laws. Just like gravity, there whether we like them or not.
And of course then came AIDS, now they gained a lot of sympathy as a result as well.
But what kind of God is it?
That's exactly what I concentrated and posted on for years here at FR and other places, yet some are simply not interested or too dense to understand what is being said.
In other forums I've been asking anybody and everybody to provide a link to a study supporting the born-that-way theory and for the most part I get no takers. Every once in a while somebody will post a link to a study they think supports their position but it's obvious they didn't understand the study, they didn't read the study or somebody else told them the study supported the born- that-way theory.
We have a nation of people who can't think for themselves.
There may be .01% of cases where they truly are “born that way”, like any genetic defect.
But in most cases, it’s learned or acquired, especially in cases where they are molested as children.
You can make these arguments without using religion that homosexuality harms society as a whole just like slavery did and do so without using religion, even though our laws are formulated under the Judeo Christian ethic and moral guide within the framework of fundamental law. I would not want to live under Chinese law with one child type moral policy or Sharia law that puts homosexuals to death. But a world that allows recognition of same sex marriage is condoning all the ills and destruction that the behavior inflicts on our society. For the same reason that legalizing drugs is a bad idea so is normalizing same sex marriage. They still lose, society loses, the devil wins with more souls going to hell, and the only victory belongs to the one who conquered sin and death, and that is Jesus. The victory was on the cross and all who chose to follow Jesus find happiness and life and more abundantly.
And thanks to their immeasurable obnoxiousness, when the pendulum swings back....it will be very unpleasant.
History shows that gays have come “out” and been pushed back into the so-called closet~~maybe this is one reason why!
Government wants the people to believe IT is God. That’s where the are winning. When you free the masses of personal responsibility, they are free to sin without consequences... In this life, anyway.

Yes, but we can also recognize and throw-off a government force that officially thwarts one's ability to adhere to the Judeo-Christian standard and indeed coerces individuals to fund its opposite.
Government is a force that serves to coerce people away from God. The Founders called for limited government. They used government conservatively, sparingly.
The reality is that in every election, Democrats systematically gin votes by GOTV drives, bussing homeless folks to the polls, harvesting elderly from homes to vote, etc., etc., not to mention multiple voting, fraudulent voting, illegals voting -- it happens every election. Read the news.
On the ground, however, real Americans are disgusted and distressed. Nearly two in three, not quite I don't think, but close, 2 in 3, are sick of liberalism, sick of amorality, sick of government, and sick of a biased media. The news media is held in huge contempt by Americans.
I think God would be pleased, will be pleased, when the majority is able to throw off an anti-God force put into place by a fraudulent minority, assisted by an illusion-spinning media. Obama-style liberals are probably, in real numbers on the ground, a little more than one of every three Americans.
