Featured Term (selected at random:

IMPECCABILITY OF CHRIST

The absolute impossibility of Christ committing any sin. His freedom from original sin was declared by the Council of Florence (Denzinger 1347), from personal sin by the Council of Chalcedon (Denzinger 301), and the Second Council of Constantinople condemned the theory that Christ became completely impeccable only after the Resurrection (Denzinger 434). (Etym. Latin im-, not + peccare, to sin: impeccabilitas, freedom from liability to sin.)

Four people were born without original sin:
Adam, Eve, Mary and Jesus.
Mary was the "new Eve," as I remember and thus Jesus was the "new Adam" who died for our sins.

“Mary was the “new Eve,” as I remember and thus Jesus was the “new Adam” who died for our sins.”

As Adam and Eve were married and had children, that’s a pretty creepy way of looking at it, IMO.

Well, that was the way we were meant to decipher our beginnings. It doesn't really matter exactly when and how we began, but there were hominids and Neanderthals back then, they just weren't "homo sapiens sapiens" like we are now.

SOMETHING happened somewhere in time that ignited the brain and conscience together to form what we are today.
