Are you against scripture? Or do you believe that us rough peasants aren't qualified to handle it?
Us "peasants" wouldn't be reading Scripture if generations of Catholic monks didn't spend many of their waking hours copying and meditating on them.
Us peasants wouldn’t be allowed a copy if the reformation hadn’t happened.
All of which matters not one bit in the current discussion.
