MY SOUL IN MANY LAYERS
Why this work, that work or many works matter
When everything is love, for Love;
In trials or joyful bliss I adore Him just the same;
In busy daily life, I find the most tranquil peace;
In sharpest contrast, love emerges.
I love You for all You have arranged,
Small, smallest, or large, immense;
Into Your hand I commend my loving spirit, my all.
Strip of it layer after layer, Lord.
Lay it bare to witness how love is throbbing
Like a beating heart in the hand of a skillful surgeon.
All I ask that You never leave me, never be saddened by lack of effort
But suffer this lowly servant to the lowest state
In order to see how his love for You is made of.
Oh, for the tests of love, I am most willing to plunge my all in
Like a most vivid leaf, plucked, thrown into the swiftest current.
He harnesses love in squeezing
Every fragment of my being, nothing left unaccounted
In the Eye of the All-knowing,
All my pain, my suffering, my disturbance, my emotion, my softest gentlest sighs,
Like a mother giving birth,
Like a delicious fruit formed from a delicate flower.
I forever surrender, suffer than losing Him.
Living without Him is not peace
As my hunger can be satisfied only on the Cross.
Keep close, O Lord, I long to be everywhere with You.
Be at my side while we perform all the servile daily tasks.
Translate my love into life living, most normal but also most extraordinary.
Captivate my soul in many layers in order to create it anew,
To synthesize love nature, to animate the bond.
Grant me the sweetness of Your bitter keg
So my heart is closed in Yours forever,
To be unruffled, affirmed.

I'm going to bookmark it so I can go back to it from time to time. WSe should all pray --- like this -- before we do anything else a FR.
Thanks. I will put more poems usually in early morning 5-6 am as I spend this time daily to converse with Him.
