You meant closest... but there's a big problem with the coming 'attempt' - this one isn't going to be voluntary. The 'New World Order' may create a temporary world government, but we (Christians) know far too much about these times. We know this latest attempt will be futile, and face God's wrath, shortly after it is set up.

What is most exciting to me that God lets it all run amok - then He finally sets up His own one-world perfect government.

What happened at the tower of Babel was a precursor of what we call now collectivism. I see it clear in the pages of the Bible that God’s intention all along was to deal with man on an individual level. The kind of individualism we see in the New Testament: one’s individual faith in Christ. No one can have that faith for you.

This continued for a while, but then came Constantine and the merging of state and church. The RC system was a giant step away from individualism. One was born into the RC system, individual faith was not required you were baptized as a baby into it. Some, like the Anabaptists, saw clearly from the word of God how wrong infant baptism was, and at the most basic level - one’s individual faith. I see the RCC as a kind of Christian collectivism.

But we have now another form of collectivism staring us in the face. More oppresive than the RCC ever was: Agenda 21. I see it as the final manifestation of what the Tower of Babel was only a first attempt. A one world collectivist dictatorship, with the nations separated into ten groupings of nations. The ten horns of Dan. 7 and Revelation.

If anyone reading this isn’t aware of Agenda 21, I suggest you google it, there must be around 40 youtubes on it. Agenda 21 is the one world planner’s agenda for the 21’st century.
