As a kid I remember watching a episode of Unsolved Mysteries about three or four Italian girls who saw a vision of Mary on a hill and she told them about the end of the world. Anyone know the story?

Every Catholic does. It was the miracle at Fatima.

The prophecies at Fatima were seen by two girls and one boy. They dealt in great deal with World War II, the rise of Russia, and a great decline in the faithfulness of the Catholic church, but not with the end of the world. Fatima is in Portugal, not Italy, and not on a hillside.

None of the 13 apparitions approved globally fits this description, but there are many which have not been approved globally, but which aren’t necessarily demonic or fraudulent, including such famous ones as Medjugorgje (which predicted the fall of Russia) and Rwanda (which predicted the horrific slaughter).
