leaders to standup to the government when LBJ got an amendment to the tax code passed
that outlawed all tax exempt organizations from participating in political and lobbying activities.

The power to tax churches is the power to destroy them. Those who believe in meeting in one anther's’ living rooms think that's fine which just goes to show that they're more than happy dictating to everyone else. The government is the same way, more than happy to dictate to everyone else. Those who want to start taxing churches are no different than the crowd who see nothing wrong with making churches pay for abortions and contraceptives.
