I understand that many churches are restoring their Communion Rails. Has it happened in your church?

No and I hope it doesn't. Benedict's "Back to the 50's" approach will be the final death knell for this Church.

It'll be death if BXVI doesn't restore the Church. But not the 1950s. The 400s will do. By then, the Canon was set and the Council of Nicea had had the opportunity to settle the Faith.

I don’t think so. The new translations are bringing a sense of reverence back. In some churches only the Body of Christ is offered; the Chalice of Christ’s Blood is only offered on special occasions.

I see the Communion Rails and a more reverent reception of the Holy Eucharist on one’s tongue coming.

BTW, do you lick all the crumbs of the Body of Christ off your hands if you receive Communion in your hand? It was the American Bishops who did this. The GIRM prefers reception of the Eucharist on the tongue.

Read the book “Get Us Out of Here” by Maria Simma. You will never receive Communion in your hand again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
