I noticed your tagline. Does your church teach that God is Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit?It actually does. My impression was that the Catholic version involved essentially three deities. Let's just say that I was exposed to a lot of anti-Catholic material during my church-going days. (It's also been a while since I've looked into the subject, given that I'm a lapsed Protestant).
