Parental consent cannot stretch beyond the physical integrity of the child - as in, the parents have no right to mutilate the physical body of the child - to deprive the child of body parts which have dense innervation for the purpose of increasing sexual satisfaction. If a parent has a right to this according to your dogma, then Muslims lopping off their daughters’ clitorises is also valid, by your same illogic.

You are still avoiding answering the actual arguments made, and instead resorting to facetious, spurious tangents - using labels and epithets which have no relevance to the actual points pertaining to the subject. Such behaviour constitutes the actual signs of the type of individual, described by your labels, you are accusing others of being.

There you go with “physical integrity” again without defining it. You do realize you are on a forum marked “Religion”, yes? Do you even believe in God, never mind any deity or higher power at all? I cannot think of any Biblical injunctions that protect a child's supposed “physical integrity” especially with respect to the foreskin, therefore I have to conclude that the concept as broached by you is not only unbiblical but also unconservative. Hurling invective such as “barbaric” is also a prejudiced viewpoint. Looking for any reason to cut off parental rights and have the state step in: that is leftist.

You are not making any arguments. You are typing leftist dogma (which we all recognize on sight), as well as having started the whole “labels and epithets” ball rolling. You are also making false comparisons, such as female “circumcision” (which it is not; such a thing is impossible) to male circumcision (removal of the clitoris is comparable only to removal of the glans; any doctor will tell you that). WADR, please refrain from attempting to indoctrinate from that all-too-familiar viewpoint; it is becoming tiresome.

Do you understand that your argument could be made to have compulsory state education of children simply by having some progressive declare that other education hinders a child?
