Missing Mass last night and the Good Friday service has been a bummer for me. But an untreated broken foot is keeping me home.
Mine is a bad left hip; it's getting replaced at the end of this month. The Bread of Heaven and Life is truly missed when I miss even a day--it's been two days and I will probably miss Holy Saturday too. Easter...I will go if I have to sit up front with all the crips.
I MIGHT be behaving JUST a tad cranky...and it might reflect in my posts. Happy Easter anyway!
I had to cut short my 3 hours devotion to get back to work. It really hurt that I could not be there for all of it. Next year, I am taking vacation so work can’t interfere.
