What evidence do you have for this statement? None. We have the universally recognized Greek Father St. John of Damascus testifying in favor of the Assumption of Mary and nobody of any stature testifying against it. Give it up. There is no contest. So who do we believe??? Father John, or Jesus???
So John was there??? He saw Mary go up??? If not, his testimony is worthless...
