Since there is no official RCC Bible commentary

I gave RNmom links to go for Catholic scripture interpretation previously. If you would like to study the official interpretation you can start here, and here. When you're finished if you like more, let me know.

However, you have me wondering: Where, or which, is the official infallible Protestant Bible interpretation/commentary?

Sending us to a site that has the Creeds and to a site that indoctrinates but only references a few texts many of which are taken out of context is your idea of interpreting scripture? I can totally understand why Catholics have so little knowledge of scripture.

Nobody ever said the Bible commentary from the Catholic church had to be infallible, and nobody ever said that Protestants ever claimed infallibility for their Bible commentaries.

The Catachism is nothing but out of context proof texts..The Mormons and JWs can do that as well.. The first rule of scripture interpretation is context , the 2nd rule is context and the 3rd rule is context ..that is where Romes lack of an" INFALLIBLE "COMMENTARY OF THE ENTIRE BIBLE falls short of truth..

I too have a catechism.. that cites scripture.. BUT that is no substitute for reading the scripture IN CONTEXT

However, you have me wondering: Where, or which, is the official infallible Protestant Bible interpretation/commentary?

That my old friend is one of the HUGE differences in catholics and protestants..We believe the Bible is infallible and innerent but we are not.. and so like the bereans we search the scripture to make sure what we hear is true.. Only Rome places itself on equal footing with God ..
