“...ensure that not even a small particle drop.”
Why is that a problem?
What is the problem with this exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum?
In the Books of Matt. 26:26-28; Mark. 14:22,24; Luke 22;19-20; 1 Cor. 11:24-25 - Jesus says, this IS my body and blood. Jesus does not say, this is a symbol of my body and blood. Catholics accept the words of Jesus literally. Moreover, in John 6:53 - 56, our Lord says: "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats* my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him."
As such, Christ is present in each crumb of the host. The paten pictured above is intended to catch a host that slips or a crumb that may have fallen.
