You know, I swear I remember when I was a kid some of the folks in Ohio followed a different pattern when crossing themselves. Do Eastern Orthodox and Greek Orthodox do this the same way? There were a lot of people from both of those Churches where I grew up.

That’s the way I do it but I’m so old I still say “Holy Ghost”,and always will.

Isn’t this a function of language? For example, “Holy Spirit” to Americans is “Espirito Santo” in other tongues?

I thought (I may be wrong) that Orthodox cross themselves differently, strictly based on language.
