According to my Bible, 1Peter and 2Peter were written from Babylon around 60 A.D. and 61-65 A.D. respectively.

Why the huge disparity?

Perhaps your Bible (whatever it is) diverges from Christian theology in the same manner that so many here have done. Since St. Peter never went to Iraq, we have even more evidence that your Bible (whatever it is) does not contain the fullness of truth.
