There's nothing magical about the year 100 AD either, which is the date you put forth.

Not magical, but highly significant since it is generally believed that no apostle and/or writer of NT Scripture lived past that time.

Negative. It is believed that the Apostle John (who could have been the Gospel writer) lived until approximately 100 AD. 2 Peter is believed to have been written approximately at 150AD, which is nearly a century after St. Peter was martyred.

Exactly...which is why 100 AD is the general cutoff date.

Really? Believed by everyone? I don't think so.
