One of the blessings of our US Catholic communities is the contributions of each of the many cultures represented in our parishes. As we prepare ourselves for our Lenten Observation it would be fantastic if we share the unique and special Lenten traditions and recipes of our communities and childhoods. Surely we can collectively do better than salmon loaf every Friday.

You can have more of the caviar.

I've never been a big fan of caviar either.

I can only imagine what your mother experienced when you were a child. :)

I’ve never had caviar, that I know of. It just looks so gross.

I can only imagine what your mother experienced when you were a child. To imply that I have ever been anything other than an absolute joy to be around is highly insulting. :-)
My mother has never really liked eggs in any form (I love eggs, just not a big fan of caviar or hard boiled eggs), so that wasn't a big problem. Plus we went out to dinner a lot. I did order beluga caviar one time in a restaurant just to see how it tasted; it's better than the reddish junk they sell in grocery stores, but not much.

I’ve only had the kind of caviar they put on sushi.

I actually have it quite a bit when it's used as a garnish on sushi.
Trisham has been stuck in New England for a long time, people up there eat the green slime out of lobsters.
