This thread has been hijacked by the usual suspects. I suggest that (admitting my guilt here) we do not respond to any of these usual suspects. Let them cackle and peck amongst themselves to see what they can dig up from the dirt.
The subject of the article was evangelizing a genuine Catholic faith. I’ll go first. I think we can best do this by:
Making sure our children know the richness of the faith. No more mamby pamby water downed fill good pablum. Give them the depth of Catholicism. School them in Scripture and in the catechism. Tell them about the heroes of the faith. Make Jesus real to them.
Good post. My hubby and I are trying very hard to teach the faith to our children. My eight year old says a rosary every day. He loves Davey and Goliath and other religious programs. He has even shared with me that he might want to be a priest someday!! :)
