I saw John Paul II while he was alive. I read his works. I don't know about sainthood, but Karol Wotyla was one of the great men of the Twentieth Century. He was one of the Great Three of the 1980s who crushed Soviet Communism, with Reagan and Thatcher.

Yes! John Paul II is the best Pope we ever had. We are so lucky that we had him during the Reagan and thatcher period. The three of them were unstoppable. God Bless Blessed John Paul and the Catholic Church!

That “dude” changed the rules and then proceeded to beatify more people than all the popes before him put together. Now he is getting beatified under the same easy rules.

Joan of Arc had a devils advocate working against her (now eliminated in the new process)and she needed four authentic miracles to secure for beatification and two more miracles form Canonization.

The new rules have no devils advocate, and call for 1 and 1 miracles. It’s like they moved the fences in to 100 feet. and any ballplayer hit 6000 homers per year.

The beatification & canonization process has become a joke.
