Sometimes I think the lawyers have taken over the church

All this sings like legal mumbo jumbo applied to biblical lessons.

This is why I dont belong to ANY organized church...

God always says it best:

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1 Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Different people relate to God in different ways. Some people are more philosophical; some more intellectual, some more emotional, some more spiritual, some more practical. God is able to engage you where you are.

Don’t worry about it. If you love God, love your neighbor, and believe in the Christ you are his. He’ll engage you where you are. At some point he may draw you into a body of believers, because there is something to be gained from being part of a group of like-minded believers. Until then just keep looking up and leading your little clan.
