Try checking my posts. I've been pinging metmom to most of my responses. We've also FReep Mailed each other quite regularly. In fact, I've communicated most of those you've pinged.

I also communicate with the Catholics. I reject the doctrine of their Church, but I still recognize them as loved by God and beautifully made in His devine image. I also pray for their release from the bonds of their false beliefs. Have you got a problem with that?

Mr. R had only disagreed on some points with Dr. E's calvinism, but that was enough for him to get hounded out as somehow being a hidden Catholic and vitriol was tossed liberally.

He on the contrary always stated his Baptist faith. Just because he happened to disagree with the poster in question on one point (the point was double predestination where his views were not quite Catholic either, but his own and scripturally backed up), that's when he got the entire dose of hate. Though I don't believe he ever got Post under any other name, do you?! Other non-Catholic posters have got that though over the years when they disagree with the doc.
