I apologize. In post 989 you said “Some seem to believe that Jesus’ devinity is tied to Mary’s virginity.” — you do realize that the Church does not believe in any possible way that Jesus’ divinity is due to Mary’s virginity.

you do realize that the Church does not believe in any possible way that Jesus’ divinity is due to Mary’s virginity. I was talking about the opinions of persons who claim membership in said church. They strongly expressed their faith in the power of Mary's virginity.
Are the people not the church?
