that while some introversion aspects are genetic in terms of temperament . . .

nevertheless . . . as a GENERAL RULE:

Those who

1. have an EXternal locus of control vs internal

and/OR

2. are shy, introverted

and/OR

3. are pessimistic vs optimistic

TEND TO HAVE

A) lower life satisfaction
B) lower immune system robustness
C) lower quality spouses
D) lower quality jobs & job satisfaction
E) lower incomes

Thankfully, ALL those traits can be greatly moderated, if not changed wholesale in authentic lasting ways with a lot of work and rewired thinking.

Do note that introverted does not have to mean shy. It can mean folks who need downtime on their own. A very good example is comparing Italians to the English/Dutch. Neither of these temperaments is bad per se, but only if taken to extremes.
