I am very sad about the scandal to the laity and, especially, the youth of the Church. It will be a long, hard road back to the Church. May Christ hold those responsible accountable!
No, the Church is not ‘finished’. There have been other times, in the past, that the reputation of the Catholic Church has been tainted by actions of her people. She has survived, and will continue to do so, if her people keep their eyes on Jesus, and grow in holiness with Him.
