It obviously meant “pathological fear of sin,” from its roots. I’ll have to find an opportunity to use it!

You haven’t ever played the Board game “Scruples” then?

Gives you a lot to think about. If playing with children and/or teens some questions need to be adjusted and/or edited by adults.

Scrupulosity confuses me, because “scrupulous” is a good thing in the vernacular.
