A lot of heresies were dealt with in the early Church A lot of heresies were dealt with inconfronted for the first time by the early Church...and they continue to plague the Church today.
Most "new" heresies are just the old ones in slightly update language.
FWIW all of the Councils cited are accepted by Lutherans.
