It was the ordination of rabbis (semikhah) that led the Pharasees to rabbinic Judaism and the rise of the synagogue. Will the elitist Saducees be reborn to positions of priestly oversight within the new Temple?

Oy vey! Not again.

Well, I don't know about the Saducees, but I do know that the Sanhedrin have been reconvened in Israel (Sanhedrin Launched In Tiberias), and, considering that the Sanhedrin are the only rabbinical body who are considered "qualified" to authenticate the Messiah when He arrives, this is very exciting in terms of the Temple being rebuilt and Bible prophecy in general!
