Hmmm...my question was "How does a Catholic answer this?" Your responses wouldn't convince even another Catholic. Again, what is the answer to that question - if you are able to answer it?

I couldn't care less what Luther or other Protestants had to say. I did not ask the question to argue about the traditions of the Church, but to get an answer. If you are not able to, maybe someone else could attempt an answer, or is it just "unwise" to give an answer to someone who is seeking to know what other Christians think?

I’m not an anullment expert, so I can’t answer your human question. Perhaps others can.

I just don’t believe that God put Mary and Joseph together as the mother and foster father of Jesus in a haphazard manner.

That’s why I remarked about the “Not thinking as God thinks.” remark.

Who would I be to ever second-guess God? (Rhetorical question I realize.)
