“It is part of an openness policy secretly adopted by the United Nations...”
Now that just sounds silly, doesn’t it?
I love the UFO subject, but this is pathetic, IMO. No position has been taken by the Catholic Church, and no “preparation” by the Church has been exposed in the article. This guy is a loser.
Um, no, this has nothing to do with globalism, this is the ranting of either a lunatic or a money hungry con artist like the rest of the rabid cultists who believe in flying saucers, alien abductions, crop circles, aliens cutting secret deals with governments, and the suckers who buy the books and tapes. You know, crazy stuff.
LoL I just watched it for the first time tonight via dVr.
. . . . Because we need to know these things:
_________
What things? That there’s another hungry con-artist ready to spin tall tales about spacemen and flying saucers and trying to sell books on his website to gullible suckers?
“Numerous independent sources have predicted such disclosure is imminent,....”
A US Air Force pilot, in 1967, told me that his plane had followed one...that our government knew they existed back then...
I’m still waiting for them to tell us!
Here are the operative words. NB:
the Obama administration is expected to play a prominent role.
He never lets a crisis go to waste.
Thought this would be of interest — sorry if you’ve already been pinged to the thread...
I remember perhaps a year ago the Pope releasing a statement that belief in Extra-Terrestrials was not at odds with Catholic Doctrine because we are ALL God’s children, and it was silly to think we were the only ones He created in this vast universe.
I don’t have a link handy though, so I can’t remember the exact wording, but that was the gist of the proclamation paraphrased.
Interesting that they have remade the “V” series and are airing it right now... Those who study this “phenomena” talk about Reptilians and others. I wonder if “V” itself is a way to pre-condition us into trusting one race of ETs over an other (if this all turns out to be real... I’m a (very) open-minded “skeptic” on this subject — or maybe a “skeptical believer” might be a more apt description when it comes to the existence of other sentient life-forms in our universe).
Hello? This article was written by a nutter, it’s not a real news story. The same nutter wrote the same “disclosure” article a few weeks ago, this time it’s the Vatican that’s going to disclose aliens.
Read the thread, see the links, the guy is just another UFO con artist.
Actually, about a year (or more) ago the Vatican DID take a position regarding belief in extra-terrestrial life.
Summarized they said it did NOT create a problem doctrine-wise for Catholics to believe in the possibility of other sentient life forms in our universe. That if they did indeed exist, they were created by the same God that created all of us.
That's not entirely true.
FOX News - Vatican: It's OK for Catholics to Believe in Aliens
Tuesday, May 13, 2008
VATICAN CITY There could be alien life forms and believing they exist isn't contradictory to having faith in God, the top astronomer at the Vatican said in an interview published Tuesday.
In the Vatican newspaper piece, titled "The Extraterrestrial Is My Brother," the Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes said the expansiveness of the universe means there could be life on planets other than Earth.
"In my opinion this possibility exists," Funes, the director of the Vatican Observatory, told L'Osservatore Romano. "Astronomers believe the universe is made up of 100 billion galaxies, each of which consists of 100 billion stars. ... Life forms could exist in theory even without oxygen or hydrogen."
Funes said that there might even be other intelligent life out there, but believing in its existence doesn't pose a problem for those of the Catholic faith.
"It is possible. So far we have no proof. But certainly in a universe so big we can not exclude this hypothesis," he told the paper.
"As there is a multiplicity of creatures on earth, so there may be other beings, intelligent, created by God. This does not conflict with our faith, because we cannot put limits on the creative freedom of God."
He said human beings could even consider another life form an "extraterrestrial brother" because it, too, would be one of God's creatures.
"How can we rule out that life may have developed elsewhere?" Funes said. "Just as we consider earthly creatures as 'a brother,' and 'sister,' why should we not talk about an 'extraterrestrial brother'? It would still be part of creation."
The interview covered a variety of topics, including the relationship between the Roman Catholic Church and science, and the theological implications of the existence of alien life.
Funes said science, especially astronomy, does not contradict religion, touching on a theme of Pope Benedict XVI, who has made exploring the relationship between faith and reason a key aspect of his papacy.

Thanks for providing that link for everyone. I remembered reading the article, but am about to turn in for the night and didn’t have time to go searching. :)
Bob.
Bob.
Don’t concern your pretty-little-self with my pings.
You weren’t in my original ping, and yet, you are the one doing all the complaining.
We have already done so, through lack of critical thinking skills -- the anthropomorhic global warming hoax plays on the ignorance of "modern people such as ourselves," who enjoy all the fruits of scientific discovery, but who don't know enough geologic and paleontological history to get that a couple of centuries of "climate data" in the context of gaging global climate trends is like thinking that one milisecond of film from a full-length feature movie could enable one to determine the plot.
Complaining? You’re treating this as a real news story as if it has some merit. I just informed you that it’s about as valid as a Weekly World News “Aliens Meet With Bush” story. He’s just another UFO charlatan looking to separate gullible folks from their money.
Last I checked I was allowed to respond to people without being pinged, just letting you know that it’s a hoax by a con-artist, not a real news story.
Thanks. No sweat.
Love it when y’all keep digging.
INDEED. QUITE CORRECT.
