You need to make a soft N sound. Start humming NNN and as you do, arch the middle of the tongue up so that it touches the upper palate deeper (closer to the throat). The tip of the tongue might curve down, no longer touching the base of the front upper teeth.

Another exercise: say "new" slowly, paying attention to what you tongue is doing before it peels off the palate for the "ew" sound.

The outcome is a kind of an N sound, but softer, as if you meant to glide into a "yu" or "ye" sound but did not follow all the way. Some people talk to babies in such soft lisp. There is a male voice on the National Public Radio that has that unusual soft register in his speech.

So his name sounds "Zhahk Paul MeeN" where N is that soft N.
