Yet where is this COSMOS in the article? I’d have expected an even brief discussion of the universe.

COSMOS (KOSMOS) means “orderly arrangement or worldly arrangement, a system of order” in the Greek, the opposite of CHAOS. Therefore a Cosmic system, is a system of ordering things, or structuring things. The distinction is that it is possible to organize things through faith in Christ, or to organize things independent of faith in Christ.

The doctrine of Cosmic One describes how humans organize things independently of faith through Christ, but is nonetheless characterized as being sinful or missing the mark.

Morality is not to be confused with spirituality, and there are many moral sins which fall into the category of the cosmic system.
