The "COEXIST" Movement and Delusion

It seems like everywhere you look these days while driving on the road – especially on college campuses – an odd-phrased bumper sticker with religious symbols spelling “COEXIST” can be seen. This phrase contains the spiritual ideologies of the major world religions.

Every letter in the “COEXIST” phrase has a symbol representing a religious system or spiritual ideology: “C” for the crescent and star (representing Islam); “O” being dotted with the Karma Wheel (Buddhism) “E” as energy in the relativity equation (Science); “X” illustrating the star of David (Judaism); the “I” representing the pentagram (Wicca/Pagan); “S” for the Tao symbol; and “T” for the cross for Christianity.

Saw one of those stickers yesterday and I was musing that the Islamic star is on the left....the Christian cross is on the right...made me happy to be Catholic...

We seem to have a lot of the “COEXIST”ers around here (NY metro area). I just thought they were soft-headed lefties who often also have “War is not the answer” bumper stickers. (What was the question?)

Thanks - I was hoping someone would post that. Not offensive enough though. The only symbol that would piss off my leftest neighbors is the swastika. (Well, and maybe the cross.)

I have seen way too many of these stickers in the Chicago area. Hard to co-exist with the Religion of Peace when a good number of them want us “infidels” dead. See http://www.thereligionofpeace.com for the latest tally of “co-existence.”

The problem with “coexisting” is that the letter “C” wants to saw the heads off all the other letters.

See them all the time in Michigan. These are people who are too afraid or too lazy to make distinctions and excuse their fear or laziness by pretending that they have a higher and enlightened mindset. In reality their “mindset” is the equivalent of a pile of mashed potatoes — appearing to have form but really incapable of standing up to either gravy or a critical intellectual discourse.

I’ve seen more than a few here in Fresno, CA. Frankly, I’ve learned to visually “tune out”, most liberal stickers.. they need to remind themselves to “coexist”.. and stop hating Christians so much....because you know those things are directed at us as if we are the problem...liberals don’t understand that Muslims don’t want to merely “coexist”..they want to conquer, destroy, and assimilate.

So does this mean that if I’m jewish, buddhist, or a pagan, you can’t coexist with me and I can’t be conservative or as right wing as the rest of the crowd here. I personally know a buddhist and he is more conservative than most of the people on here, and my wife and I are pagan. We are conservative and have conservative values.

Seems to me, those bumper stickers are preaching to the choir.

It’s not the Christians that want to subjucate other religions and force them at the point of a sword to accept our beliefs. It’s Islam.

If they really want to make a difference, they should put that bumper sticker on a car in any middle east country other than Israel and drive it around.

Apart from Christ, there can be no genuine peace or "coexistence".

Man in his natural state can never really have peace.
