Note the difference in the question asked by the Rasmussen pull - "should not award an honorary degree" - in contrast to the question asked by the now-contested Pew poll - "should not invite Obama to speak". It's expected and anticipated that different questions will yield different results.

Of those who do not attend Mass weekly, only 23% say it is wrong, and 56% agree with Notre Dame president Father John Jenkins.FWIW, I didn't see the California Catholic Daily, or Catholic FReeper kellynla who posted that thread, disputing the Pew numbers. Nor did I see any Catholic FReepers claiming that kellynla was "bashing Catholics" in posting it.
