I read somewhere that following his election as successor to St. Peter, he told Karol Wotija they should have chosen him.

Every time I think I'm out, they pull me back in (from the Worst Godfather ever Godfather 3.)
Probably. But don’t expect more than a coverup of secret society conspiracies, not just in the Vatican but the Catholic universities here.
Tossed out of the Masons? Not to worry. Grab your wives, kids and move West. While your traveling...make up a new religion with ^you^ as prophet (Hey, why not? It worked for that Mohammed guy!)
That new religion should be loosely based on the Masonic rites (just to rub their collective noses in it). Call it Moronism, or something like that.
Hmmm, Is this Dan Brown’s next novel?
You didn’t know Michael Corlone kill the Pope in Godfather 3
Was there a guy on the Vatican’s grassy knoll?
I read 2 really good books on this.
I’m looking forward to reading this. I’ve consistenly heard this, and was just talking about it with someone the other day.
Was he murdered? In my opinion, yes.
We were all very happy when he was elected because this meant that things were going to change and some of the evil stuff done at Vat II was going to be undone. I will say that I was barely surprised when I saw the headlines only a couple of weeks later saying that he had “mysteriously died during the night.”
I can’t believe this. It doesn’t blame the Jesuits! /sarc
But in this case he's certainly more correct than the other anti-Catholic.
A sudden death of a stressed-out elderly man with pre-existing heart/circulatory problems and a previous episode of embolism, is almost certainly from natural causes.
Everybody loves to fantasize about a conspiracy, but if somebody had murdered JPI, somebody would have talked by now. After 25 years of hanging around the courthouse, I can tell you that that sort of silence just can't be maintained, even in a somewhat closed organization like the Church -- even in an even more closed and private organization like the Legionaries of Christ. "Three can keep a secret if two of them are dead" are words to live by.
I think Michael Corlone took care of business he got whack
> snort <
I don’t remember him saying anything to Karol Woyija but he did say, and many people recorded him saying so, that the wrong man had been selected and that the man sitting behind him should have been choosen.
The man sitting behind him was the future John Paul the Great.
Very interesting. His death always seemed so untimely to me.
No.
