For these last two weeks of Lent I will post a Catholic Word of the Day. Let me know what you think.......Would anyone want to take over posting it after these two weeks?
Do you even want it?

It is simplistic enough for my mental agility to have a Catholic word of the Day.
Some of the Catholic teachings here and on EWTN are too complex to understand.
I often ask KV when we are going about the day and reading/listening to Catholic teachings: Did you get that?
Because I didnt and he Always says Sure I did.
(I think he likes teasing me as in gee Mom how come you didnt get it)

And by the Grace of God it will be revealed to me as it serves him.
Joke around our home is Mom is so much like Peter.
His intentions to serve were of zeal but somehow he missed the point the Lord was trying to make on so many occasions and needed to have things pointed out allot. LOL

The site doesn’t have that information, but from the little Spanish I know I wonder if it would be something like
Ahn-da-coy-yo
Pinging a linguist.

Ahn-da-coy-yo Yep, that would be it.
I've never heard of this shrine, but I'm sure there are many, all around the world, in honor of our Blessed Mother.

That's a long-standing Latin American custom. The
santos -- wooden sculptures with finely detailed heads and hands and jointed bodies -- are dressed in beautiful silks, satins, and jewels.

In my Mexican-American accent, it would be “an-da-COY-yo.” In Spain, “an-da-CAHL-yo.” I’m not familiar with Chilean pronunciation; don’t think we have any Chileans in our congregation!
