This is interesting because I would have assumed in Salt Lake that anyone who was not LDS would be in such a minority that they would be the ones who felt (or imagined) bigotry.


Last I checked, SLC proper was 50% (maybe less) active LDS.

I didn’t realize that - I thought it was more like 80% Mormon - has this been a big change or was I just wrong?

Yep

Any religion that dominates has the potential to do harm to a differing minority. History is replete with these examples. In fact, Mormons themselves suffered as they trod westward looking for Zion.
