Foolish people, Lord, worship a man rather than You. The thing created ignores its Creator and worships a fellow creation. What a crazy world we live in these days, and getting crazier by the moment.
Heavenly Father, we come to You today amazed that almost one month into the Obama Presidency that there is never a lack of things to pray for. I wish his first month would have been less eventful, but as I feared, he has moved swiftly in his destruction of all that we hold near and dear. Still, we are not destroyed entirely and so there is hope. There may be scars we may pay for for years, but if You were to intervene, this nation could still be saved. Whether or not it is in Your plan to intervene in this case is not something that You have revealed to me. Still, I believe it pleases You when we recognize You for who You are. You are the great Almighty God, and nothing is too difficult for You. Men's hearts are as putty in Your hands. And Obama's heart is not beyond Your grasp. Is he meant for judgment or amazement? I really don't know. But so that we may have peaceful lives in this nation, I pray for his soul that the world may be amazed at the change You bring in his life.
I pray for the youth in this nation. They have so much against them and so much for them. Morally depraved as a whole, they don't have the kind of role models they need and they aren't taught even the most basic of critical thinking skills in schools. As a result, they have latched on to a smooth talker, who offers pleasant sounding speechs with no substance. And they have failed to understand the gravity of a socialist country, and the loss of freedom that is headed their way. When he falls, and he will, these hearts will be devastated. Wake them up before that day and cause them to desire a return to the founder's intent - one nation under God.
I pray for Congress. Never have we assembled such a worthless lot - yet there are a few that still stand. Bless these men and women and cause their influence to exponentially increase in Congress.
Go with us the rest of this day Lord. Break the stranglehold of bad legislation that seems to come out of the White House and Congress daily. And see to it that the freedom You gave us is protected.
Draw our hearts to You Lord. We love You. Its in Jesus' name and for His glory we pray, Amen.

Last evening, driving home from work, listening to talk radio and getting more depressed. I turned it off and started singing God Bless America. All the way home I kept it up. It actually helped me spiritually. I believe I will make a tape of all patriotic songs and leave it in car and home and play to my hearts content. We need that sense of Patriotism right now to get people to open their eyes to the destruction of our once great America. Young college/teens don’t grab the concept of what they will lose under these dems. Take away their cell phones and other luxuries we never knew as young ones. Make them see what is happening to the great Country America. They only curse it and take that mentality that it’s coming to me. Sadly this comes from their parents and possibly grandparents. I saw this coming when they would all wait for the mailman for their welfare checks while I was working 2 jobs at 16. And they laughed at me. Well they aint laughing now. I made it and most of them didnt. Welfare/Jail/death got them.
Yes, Lord, Deliver us all from their evil, Amen.
Lord, Your Word says that Your mercies are new every day..as is Your fresh oil, daily bread and fire. Fill President Obama and his wife's heart with these things, and remove the darkness. Pour out Your fire on them, in every area of their life, fan the flame, ignite the spark, kindle a blaze in them. Don't let them be comfortable with what they're doing or have done, while in office. Bring no sleep to their eyes, and no rest to their souls, until they humble themselves before You, repent of their sins, and receive Your free gift of salvation. Urge them, press them always toward the cross of Christ. Ignite something new in them today. In the life changing name of Jesus, I pray, Amen

Father, it’s hard to understand what is happening right now. Changes are being hurled at us rapidly from so many directions it is impossible to address them individually. This is causing chaos and hopelessness both of which come from our enemy, Satan. In you lord, is hope and order. Help us to remember the many promises you give your children, one of which is that all things work together for good to those who love you and are called together for your purpose. Let us concentrate on your love and go about doing your will in this trying time. May we seek to glorify you in all we say and do. May our lives be marked with purpose, order, steadfastness, and above all hope. And lord, may those who see true hope in your children be drawn to you, including the president. In Jesus name, amen.
