We pray for President Bush, thanking You for that redeemed life—each one so precious to You. Give him vision, Holy Spirit, and fulfill Your ministry to lead him in all truth and show him things to come. Shield him and his family from all spiritual and temporal danger. Give him the grace he needs to prepare the White House for the incoming President and to treat him and his staff the way You would have them treated. The Holy Spirit sheds Your love abroad in his heart.
We give You thanks for each member of our military and ask for their sanctification—spirit, soul and body. Specifically, Father, I pray that You would deliver any who have problems with addictions. Send them Your word to heal them wherever they need healing and lead them in Your triumph. We continue to ask You for complete victory and vindication. Help us as a nation, Sir, to support each one.
We know You are not done with our beloved United States, because we know You are a good God Who always works towards leading Your creation in Your way of doing and being right. You never quit. Holy Spirit, Your sanctified children cry out for the cleansing of Your Holy Spirit’s fire and glory to renew these people’s dependence on You and enlightenment that Jesus is Lord.
We give You praise and thanks for Who You are and all that You are surely doing.

It might be surprising how many people around the world know that today is Elvis Presley’s birthday. The enduring popularity of the singer from Mississippi spans generations and cultures. More than 30 years after his death, sales of Presley’s music, memorabilia, and licensing agreements generate millions of dollars in annual income. Once dubbed “The King of Rock and Roll,” Elvis is often called simply, “The King.”
Whether the “kings” of this world are celebrities, athletes, crowned heads, or tycoons, they come and go. Their influence may be immense and their followers fanatically loyal, but it doesn’t last forever.
The Bible, however, refers to Jesus Christ as the eternal King. Revelation 17 speaks prophetically of earthly kings who will fight to establish their authority at the end of the ages. Biblical scholars have debated the identities of these kings, but there is no mistake about the One they cannot overpower: “These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful” (Rev. 17:14).
Jesus Christ the Lord is King, and He will reign forever.

One of the saddest verses in the Bible is the last verse of Judges: “In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which is right in his own eyes.”
One of the most promising verses is: “I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of hell and death.” (Revelation 1:18)
“Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD; Praise ye the LORD.” (the last verse in the book of Psalm)
And we do pray for President Bush!!!!
Thank you Lord for President George W. Bush, bless him and protect him, and guide him. Bless our troops and protect them. Thank you for the blessings of Liberty. Amen

A follow-up to that. Elvis, for all of his personal problems, considered himself a strong Christian. I read he was very put-off by others calling him “The King.” So much so that at a concert when a group of female fans called him “The King”, Elvis thundered back at them, “NO ! Jesus Christ IS the King !” Don’t know of many other entertainers or performers that would respond in a similar manner as Elvis did.
Holy Lord, please pour forth Your Spirit upon this kind and faithful man, George W. Bush. Keep him in the apple of Your eye; hide him in the shadow of Your mighty wings. Grant him blessings beyond measure as he enters a new phase of his life. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Thank You Lord for your mercy, grace, protection and comfort that we don’t deserve, but You provide.
We lift up our country to You Lord.
Your will be done.

Dear Lord Jesus, I ask You to protect the President and every member of his family all the days of their life from all ungodly harm.
Thank You, that Your Eye is ever upon them.
Please Surround our Troops and our Allies, Israel with Your Holy Angels to help defeat our enemy, Islam.
