It can be a little tough when the entire mass is said very softly, but if we were all doing it every week, we’d get used to it.

I used to think along the lines of the FReeper I replied to, but have since changed my mind. I think the wisest course for the Latin Church is the restoration of the Traditional Latin Mass, and the gradual abrogation of the 1970 Mass.

The first few times I went to a Traditional Latin mass, I felt like I had transported to another planet. But the experiences were positive and it doesn't seem so strange now. (I still don't attend a Latin rite regularly, just when I can.)

I'm convinced that the adjustment could be made and should be made Church-wide, for the salvation of the world.
