Good post. I read almost this same thing in Fr. Gabriel Amorth’s first book on exorcism, and Fr. Amorth also mentions that it is the bishop’s responsibility to have an exorcist in the diocese, or to be one himself (if I understood him correctly).

I am very glad to hear that this bishop has paid attention to the very real dangers of oppression, infestation, and possession.

Fr. Amorth also says that we can help protect ourselves from those dangers with frequent reception reception of the sacraments, as well as the prayer to St. Michael.

I have read both of his books, and reread them every year in the fall.

Not something to read at night though.
