Good post. I read almost this same thing in Fr. Gabriel Amorth’s first book on exorcism, and Fr. Amorth also mentions that it is the bishop’s responsibility to have an exorcist in the diocese, or to be one himself (if I understood him correctly).

I am very glad to hear that this bishop has paid attention to the very real dangers of oppression, infestation, and possession.

Fr. Amorth also says that we can help protect ourselves from those dangers with frequent reception reception of the sacraments, as well as the prayer to St. Michael.

I think Oregon bishop may be late. Satan has already done his job and there's only one thing he still needs to do. He must widen his highways leading to hell since the people of the world, being aware of it or not, just jostle for space to get there first.
