Someone doing cantation and hexes on your effigy shouldn't disturb you at all Well, except that proxy baptisms are NOTHING like that despite your wild-eyed mischaracterizations. The LDS baptismal prayer includes such phrases as "Having been commissioned of Jesus Christ..." and "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (see this scripture) and are nothing like what you describe.

I was describing an act upon a proxy object that is believed by some, to have a binding effect on the soul of another. In that way, there is much in common with your sect and that of voodoo.
