What hope is there for couples who desperately desire children, but also want to remain faithful to the Church's guidance regarding artificial reproductive technologies?

I understand the pain of not being able to have "biological children", though it is now almost 35 years in the past. I am assuming that adoption is "beyond the scope" of this discussion, but it should never be beyond the range of possibilities considered by a couple that need and want to love and nurture children.
