Well, I've read a lot of musings about cosmology on this forum over the years. And certainly a person's concept of "all that there is" will affect his views on just about everything. Personally, I have nothing further to discuss when my correspondent declares relativity theory as "failed" and astrophysics as "an expensive toyland for immature adults who can't hold a regular job."

Cosmology produces nothing. It is a speculative exercise in futility. It has no purpose. If you can come up with more profitable and tangible aspects please enumerate them.
