John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Yes, there is correct religious beliefs; there's right and wrong and moral absolutes. However, if you don't like it, you'll have to take it up with Jesus when you meet Him. He's the one who declares that; it wasn't my idea. I do agree with it because I see the fruit of correct and incorrect religious beliefs in people's lives.

The only Absolut comes from Sweden, in Peppar, Citron, Curant and other flavors, as well as unflavored. And as a spiritual fare it is rather good.

You wrote: “No. Madrassa dwellers are beyond logic.”

If you believe Madrassa dwellers are beyond logic then don’t argue with Muslims. I am neither Muslim nor a Madrassa dweller. You, however, are still without logivcal points to use to construct an argument. No surprise there.

The spiritual world is just as real as the physical world we inhabit and is also governed by laws just as reliable and consistent as those that govern the physical world.

Denying that they don’t exist doesn’t doesn’t free anyone from the consequences of breaking those laws and doesn’t make it untrue.

One does have to wonder, though, if you don’t believe these things are real; why you are on this thread about spiritual things, making statements about things that you know nothing about.

Why, on a good day I am so spiritual that I even get flammable, and have to take precautions. Since I have not yet combusted, I would claim quite a spiritual experience.

"every communist is an atheist"

I would love to see some proof of this claim.

"Communism is a political ideology, atheism is not."

Correct.

"The run-of-the-mill atheist will only badmouth Christianity but does not actively persecute them."

While it's probably true that atheists badmouth Christianity the most, that's because European and North American countries, where Christianity still has a huge presence - moreso in the latter - tend to keep religion out of government and give people a level of freedom that's unheard of in many parts the world, including the Middle East, where religion is still a driving force in government and an atheist would probably have his tongue cut out (or worse) for daring to deny the existence of God.

"Lack of correct religious beliefs equals darkness."

Oh - let me guess - the correct religious beliefs can only be the ones that come out of your book of ancient scribblings, right?

Thanks for again proving you have no logical argument, but must instead pretend anyone who opposes you is a terrorist in training! LOL!!! That’s okay, no one expects you to have what it takes to make a logical argument anyway, right?

Someday, they'll all believe in it. ;o)

"Demons exist completely within religious framework"

Not so. Demons are disembodied spirits that need a place to call home. They are not 'religious,' just self centered. Few of the notable cases in the Bible where demons were dispatched involved any religious regimen; they were usually associated with deeply disfunctional, mentally ill individuals. Those individuals were incapable of doing anything in an organized way.

And that’s only demon possession. For those of us who believe what St. Paul said,

For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)

it can certainly be a bit more general in function than that.

But your mileage may vary.

The principalities and powers of which Paul spoke are the fallen heavenly beings, not the demons that inhabit individuals and make them sick or dysfunctional. Those of which Paul spoke were what were refered to in the OT as “sons of God,” meaning that they each were a special creation, rather than biologically reproduced, while the demons that pester individuals are merely the spirits of the beings resulting from the union between “sons of God” and human women, that were exterminated in the flood. (see epistles of Enoch)

I think as all things/concepts concerning Creator/God any name man can give, Hell is far far beyond what any man can conceive of.

However it is a reality, and we get there by our own actions and words and thoughts. Therefore No one but each of us ‘condemns us to hell’.

And even with all of that He loves his children so much that he will wait until almost the very last at the judgment for them/us/me to turn towards him and his light.

The problem I guess for man/& me then, is no one but him ever knows when that is, or if when that time is upon us would we/I be able to override the compulsions built up over an eternity of wrong actions.

In a sense we are all going to hell until we are not.

In this world we have a sense of both possibilities. God is in our world consciously, but chooses to remain invisible to all detection apparatus except those that lay in the hearts and minds of men. At the same time if he said to man ‘I have heard your voice and you do not want me, I will go away’ and took away his conscious influence, we would suddenly be in a world where the worst we have ever seen in this one would be like a cake walk.

No man can prove he is there, but the wise man will choose to seek him rather than not.

This leads to me to my conclusion about suffering in its most severe/intense manifestations. Yes it is horrible and incomprehensible, but it is his last chance tool to drive us to him when his light alone should have drawn us there by attraction.

In that way suffering the wages of evil, andor/suffering could be said to be yet another expression of His Love for us. For he has given us most things that he has except the power to create(we cant create anything but we can tamper with what is there) And he has everything but our love for him, that must be given freely and so we have free will.
