Kneeling shows respect. Praying can be requests. The word prayer used to mean 'ask/request'. I pray thee...., etc.
I was unaware that you were so gifted as to look into my heart and see what I was thinking and meaning when I do what I do.
He also left His Word.
I would agree, but I'm not sure if you and I are meaning the precisely same thing. Could you explain your interpretation of your statement? (Since Jesus is the Word of God, I think we may have some differences in what your statement means/what you are trying to get across).
I think you are being argumentative when there was no need. I didn't mention Mary - you did. No where did I state that I could look into your heart.
As you brought Mary up - of course she deserves the utmost respect. I think all Christians think of her in that way. If you want to show your respect by kneeling to her, why not?
I go back to my original point - The church, not denominations but Christianity, was founded on Jesus Christ, not Peter. He is the Rock. Without Him would you be worshipping Peter?
